NOITE FORA: LEITURA E CONVERSAS SOBRE TEATRO

"Noite Fora" (All Through the Night) moves into its fourth year of existence, and is still committed to keep growing and transforming. How to avoid it, when everything around us is transforming? The solid will to foster encounters remains: between texts and authors and directors, between local artists and artists from everywhere (aren't we all a bit from everywhere, these days?), between artists and spectators, between dramaturgy and performance, between creation and reflection. The meeting aspect acquires new layers this year, as we add the authors of the texts to our conversations (physically or digitally) whenever possible, and associate one of our sessions to FITEI - International Festival of Iberian Expression Theatre. We mix, we diversify, we build bridges, all in the certainty that miscegenation will give birth to the best possibilities in the future. This year we focus particularly on emergent dramaturgies in different parts of the world, and we remain open to reading (or rereading) the classics that disquiet us.
