The staged readings Noite Fora return in 2020. In this third edition, Teatro Viriato and stage director Sónia Barbosa want to take this project to the next level by questioning the philosophical, social and political principles that characterise today's society. With that in mind they've invited two stage directors who are used to provoking critical thought, imprinting political messages in their work and that are no strangers to contesting paradigms.
The first guest is Jorge Andrade, founder of the theatre company mala voadora, who gave audiences a body of work that abounds with cultural and social references, fraught with controversy and that raises questions holding import to each and every citizen.
Noite Fora represents the best time and place to divulge theatre writings, to expound upon their scenic potential, to investigate links between those same texts and our reality.
