Throughout five years of fieldwork, namely in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Montesinho National Park and the Freita and Montemuro mountain ranges, renowned photographer João Cosme followed some of the more threatened iberian wolf packs.
His lens captured the daily lives of this species that, in Portugal, was classified as “Endangered”. The end result of this effort is an exhibition that shows an iberian wolf perfectly integrated with nature and of paramount importance to the ecosystem of its habitat.
In connection with the presentation of the documentary “Côa mais Selvagem”, also by the same artist (see page 32), our Foyer also hosts this exhibition.
João Cosme is a nature and wildlife photographer. His images are often published in national and international magazines: BBC Wildlife (United Kingdom); Asférico (Italy); GDT Magazine (Germany); National Geographic Magazine, Visão, Notícias Magazine (Portugal), among many others.
