"NEVER ODD OR EVEИ" is a collaboration project between two duos of choreographers, Filiz Sizanli & Mustafa Kaplan (Turkey) and Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz (Portugal).
Although they have very different creative approaches and experiences, these two couples have the same fascination for precision, minimalism, language, abstraction, and a growing interest in the interaction between spoken work, voice, movement, and gesture. There is another thing which links these duos, and it seems to be something specific in long-term collaborators: a strong conscience of what sharing a creative process means.
"NEVER ODD OR EVEИ" is the result of this collaboration that began in 2019 in a residency in Lisbon, where for weeks they shared their practices, methodologies and small excerpts of their own performances.
