Nacional-Material, Paisagem com Argonautas is a debate-performance, in which the audience joins the assembly discussing the possibility a woman has of remaining in that country. Entering the room each person can choose a plaque with the name of a hero, take a seat in the Deliberative Hero Assembly for Integration and Intercultural Dialogue and vote on matters pertaining to immigration.
The case in session is that of Medea, a foreigner who travelled illegally into Corinth with Jason, where they got married. After two years of matrimony, the couple goes their separate ways and Medea, without an employment contract, has no means of claiming a permanent residency visa. Can she stay in Corinth? At each venue the Argonauts will decide in a genuine exercise of citizenship.
