When we decide to change, what happens within us? And around us? Can language transform the body? And how many languages do we need to create a new place?
Inspired by the homonymous book by illustrator Ana Ventura, “MUDAR” is an invitation to search for the pleasure of emigration within one another, of being body and fraternal country. A Yellow figure, in their Yellow country, immersed in their Yellow daily life, decides to depart. To mix what they are with what they do not yet know. Start again in another place. From this departure, a polychromatic territory starts appearing, stating the urgency of growing steeped in the rich diversity that truly should serve as structure for all places.
“MUDAR” is a show about journeys – within and without. An adventure made of questions, sounds, colours and meetings. Are we ready to change? Shall we go together?
