THEATER
Premier
From the action movies Kill Bill, Charlie's Angels and Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Teatro Praga gives us a nonsensical fiction, with catsuits and fratricidal fights thrown in for good measure, where all the young girls living in Casa da Aguieira are heroines with special powers.
In this plot, it's not the hero or anti-hero that matters; what's important is the anti-narrative built over these young girls' life stories.
On stage, the audience is offered escapism, together with a lot of acrobatics and fatal duels.
When the time comes, between dead and wounded, for the curtain to fall, hope's rekindled and one finds that, maybe, everything will turn out just fine.
