"Mão Verde" started as a music concert for children that promptly became an ecology minded book-record. The astounding reception by the audience, the amount of units sold, the various adjacent educational activities and the numerous concerts staged throughout the country, resulted in the creation of a new chapter of this project: "Mão-Verde II".
After a few years of being a duo (Capicua and Pedro Geraldes), the project turned into a quartet. Francisca Cortesão and António Serginho add their instruments and voice to the mix and, now as a band, help the old songs reach new heights of possibility - this latest album actually doubles their total repertoire. On stage, with a new set design and renewed vitality, they bring us their new show, inviting people of all ages to dance like nobody is looking, while learning more about herbs, butterflies, seasonal fruit and nature in general.
