Teatro Viriato joins to the 3rd edition of the LUGAR FUTURO Festival, organised by Lugar Presente aiming to promote young dance creators and interpreters. The festival represents a platform to premiere new work from national and foreigner choreographers, as well as a replacement of the "earliest works" from dance students or emerging choreographers.
In this edition, the festival has confirmed the presence of the Superior School of Dance of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, as well as the Alcobaça Dance Academy and the return of the Belgian school Kunsthumaniora, Antwerp. Besides these participations, one of the highlights of the programme will be the presentation of a selected set of Earliest Works by young portuguese and foreigner choreographers, under artistic direction of the choreographer and ballet dancer Leonor Keil.
The programme is constituted by the presentation of shows, masterclasses, and conferences, in an exchange point of view between creators and interpreters' participants, as well as with dance schools, students, and teachers.
The show that Teatro Viriato will host is part of a set of presentations that will take place over three days, between 18 and 20 November, shared with the Auditorium of the I.P.D.J of Viseu.
