Soon after Clarice Lispector died, Júlio Lerner gave her an interview. After recording it, the journalist was offered a peculiar request from the writer, for this interview to be released only after her death.
"Lispector, Instantâneo Cénico" ("Lispector, Instantaneous Scenic") is a performance inspired by that same interview, by the image of the writer sitting, sphinx-like, enigmatic, entangling threads of senses in an unpredictable, seamless, but fragmented, montage of possible life.
Lispector, considered an intimist and psychologist writer, went through journalism and she wrote children's stories, and her last book published before her death, "A Hora da Estrela" ("Star time") (1977), had the chance to be made a film version directed by Suzana Amaral, in 1985.
