MEETUP
With the intention of promoting New Circus as an artistic discipline to the general populace, Companhia Erva Daninha will put forth, every friday at Circus Lab, a type of informal, relaxed, meeting where passers-by can try their hands at circus materials and techniques, or simply observe the artists in action.
Not wanting to be a formal class, the aim of this workshop is to allow those who display curiosity for this subject to have a more meaningful contact with it, while being guided by professional circus artists.
Every week, Companhia Erva Daninha will invite one of the remaining artistic groups involved with the project to join the workshop and give their own contribution.
This workshop, created within the ambit of Circus Lab, is another important stop in the trail already blazed by Erva Daninha: they strive to make new ways to present circus to audiences of varied cultural structures.
