Reaching its second decade of existence, K Cena - Projeto Lusófono de Teatro Jovem still maintains its wish of nurturing and enriching the Portuguese Language through the means of theatre but, abhorring stagnation, it stands renewed trying to reach a greater number of youths with the help of new tools that contribute to their theatrical education. Beyond allowing the reunion of youngsters from different countries, cultural realities and contexts, the sixth edition of this project contemplates the promotion of a stage direction internship aimed towards young stage directors. This internship will be mentored by Graeme Pulleyn. K Cena is the result of a partnership between Teatro Vila Velha (Salvador/Bahia, Brazil) and Instituto Camões/ Centro Cultural Português - Pólo do Mindelo (Cape Verde).
