“Justiça Cega” is a reflection on the complexity of justice, from a feminine and feminist perspective. Problematising the choice of silence as a possible means of defence and silencing as a method of oppressing those who try to defend themselves, it questions the dynamics of a crowd where, often times, those who are attacked have to abdicate their voices or, even when they choose to speak up, they are just not heard.
Inspired by the Greek tragedy “Medea”, the legend of La Llorona and other works of fiction where filicide figures prominently, this show brings us an exercise of discussion and imagination on how to look at justice from varying perspectives.
