The other side of Teatro Viriato, the one that the audience doesn't usually see, is a world filled with the sounds of machines and sweeping curtains opening and closing, and the voices of black-clad people operating the paraphernalia needed to keep a show running.
In this workshop, participants are invited to don the role of sound investigators and embark on a search for the other side - perhaps stumbling upon auditory memories lost in some of the building's hallways.
Throughout an entire week they will attempt to record, write music with recorded sounds (some made up) and organize all that sound data and music into an appealing form in the visible side of the theatre - a sonorous art installation - to be enjoyed by family and friends.
