Through photography, collage, drawing or manipulation of natural materials, Raquel Balsa proposes a reunion with the Word, from its image and its simplest element: the letter. Unfolding the shape of a letter in order to find what images are hiding inside and which relate to the universe of each participant, playing with the scale of the letter in order to find the details, following the contour of the characters and find their true shapes are some of the challenges of Imalavra. They all go searching for the letter in their surroundings, in everyday objects to create their own visual alphabet.
