Sónia Teixeira is the personification of the expression "Learn to live every day as if it was your first".  With the amount of love she carried towards life, there is no reason to apply the more common idiom "learn to live every day as if it was your last". For her, there were never "last" days, only "first". 
Her career in theatre began in 2012, with the show "Atlas", by Ana Borralho and João Galante and, immediately after, she participated in Teatro Viriato's "K Cena - Projeto Lusófono de Teatro Jovem", performing in the play "Sempre em Frente até ao Amanhecer" (staged by Márcio Meirelles - Brazil). She became a recurrent talent of the project up to 2014, taking to the stage, on several occasions, under the direction of Graeme Pulleyn (Portugal) and João Branco (Cape Verde). Sónia left us in the summer of 2023, too soon, and so, on her anniversary, we will gather friends, family and audience to pay homage to an exquisite performer that never hid her love for both the performing arts and, more importantly, people.
