As Herberto Helder once wrote, my work is known for the "proliferation of images", for playing the questioning game with existence, for the (im)probability of a suggestion that nevertheless comes to fruition and also for fear and doubt. From the unknown we will fill the space with what does not yet exist, with what we lack, in an (im)possible attempt to find the perfect place.André Mesquita
From the incisive look he throws over the city of Viseu, where he'll be in artistic residency during this year at Teatro Viriato, choreographer André Mesquita offers us a project geared towards the community, built upon the quickened pulse of the city, a veritable laboratory of artistic creation. After the registration period is concluded, the choreographer will select the participants of this Heaven (working title).
