The first exhibition in Portugal dedicated to the Bremen artist and his inner world, included in the Festival Hans Otte: Sound of Sounds. Alongside his two archetypical sound installations "Ich-Atemobjekt" (1970) e "Namenklang" (1995),  a representative selection of Otte's scores and drawings will be on display, complemented by biographical photographs, those by the composer's daughter, the German photographer Silvia Otte. The exhibition will also include the work "Air - Hommage an Hans Otte, John Cage, den Klang Der Klänge und einen Baum" (2019/2020) by Ingo Ahmels, which is based on a text Hans Otte wrote in honour of John Cage.Hans Otte: Sound of Sounds is a festival dedicated to the work of  German artist and composer Hans Otte (1926-2007), curated by Irgo Ahmels and the pianist Joana Gama. The festival has travelled through Lisbon, Évora, Guimarães, and Viseu since October 2021, with a programme that includes concerts, installations, exhibitions, and conferences. A concert, an exhibition, and a world-wide premiere of a musical theatre will be presented at Teatro Viriato.
