In partnership with Carmo'81, Teatro Viriato's companions on our 2023 journey of music programming, we are proud to host a night of unmissable concerts.
In the opening act, Teatro Viriato presents "Goela Hiante", a project by Adolfo Luxúria Canibal and Marta Abreu, started in March 2020, during lockdown, with what they had in their homes: books, an iPad and an old electronic keyboard. The project grew, becoming a record of dark, brooding poetry, performed by Adolfo Luxúria Canibal in his inimitable style, that perfectly fuses with the minimalist, obsessive and claustrophobic music written by Marta Abreu.
In the second concert, the multi-talented rock collective "Solar Corona Elektrische Maschine" brings us a format that embraces improvisation using electronic, digital and analogue instruments. On stage, new types of percussion, new methods of amplification and their subsequent processing, allow for the exploring of two facets: repetition and unpredictability.
