Music
What if a little phantom, a 'phantakid', fell in love with a singer panicking about her debut on the stage where she's rehearsing? What if that promising young artist had the help of a rock star who had faced those very same fears?
Fã (lit.: fan) - a small word that nonetheless encapsulates the biggest kind of enthusiasm - represents the fantastic and fantastical meeting between music and theatre, between pop music and the creative machinery of a stage. Fã isn't just what you call a devoted follower. From here on out it's also the abbreviation for phantasm, that ghostly creature that loves theatres, loves the backstage and there spends its days playing pranks and thinking up scares.
With songs from the band Clã, script by Regina Guimarães and stage direction by Nuno Carinhas, this new production by TNSJ is a show aimed at the super young but wont cause any fidgeting syndrome nor deathly boredom to parents, family, educators, neighbours, godparents, godmothers and all other manner of people. Playing with our fears of the dark and bringing our discoveries to light, Fã will make us sing along while we give free reign to our imagination.
