THEATER
Engolir Sapos is an artistic reflection, in the form of a play for families, about prejudices and crockery frogs. In Portugal, there are around 40 and 60 thousand gypsies, a minority between the majorities. In Portugal, there are around hundreds and thousands of crockery frogs in commercial stores, a minority between the majorities of exhibited items. The frogs aren't for sale nor for singular consumption.Crockery frogs are a decoration. And to dispel. Gypsies. If a gypsy bother a lot of people, 60 thousand gypsies bother much more. If a frog bothers men and women made of flesh and bone, a frog bothers us all.Engolir Sapos: Men and women on one side, crockery frogs in the middle, men and women on the other side.
