Dura Dita Dura is the story of a boy, Baltazar, that grows up somewhere in a remote village of a Portugal forgotten - but tightly watched and self-guarded. 
A puppet show, for all ages, that evokes the atmosphere of "silent terror" that reigned for half a century in a country "where the walls had ears." Through the watchful, sometimes astonished, eyes of a well-loved child that is, nevertheless, quite influenced by the prevailing feeling of uneasiness, the venue tries to (re)introduce the audience to a recent past which has the uncanny ability too blur and fade into the "mists of memory"...
