Who is Dom Quixote? He is the main character of a novel by Miguel de Cervantes. But who is this knight-errant, proclaiming eternal love to his Dulcinea, to the eyes of 10 Viseu teenagers that are experiencing - most of them for the first time - the stage arts?
For about six months, guided by resident stage director Graeme Pulleyn and by guest stage director João Branco, this group explored, worked and investigated the characteristics, the characters and the themes of Miguel de Cervantes' world to arrive at a play in which the universe of Dom Quixote is transported into contemporaneity, into the 21st century.
João Branco is the responsible for (nome da instituição), in Cape Verde, and he has already signed the staging of over 50 theater plays.
