"When someone wants to commit a felony or assumes the risk of perpetrating it, they incur in an act of wilful misconduct. So, if A shoots B, A acted with malicious intent, for they wanted B dead."
Dolo: Portuguese word that means wilful misconduct or malicious intent; it is also an ancient type of dagger with a wooden sheath.
Inspired by the crime at the «Poça das Feiticeiras» (lit. Pool of Witches), Fraga wrote "Dolo", a play that tells the events through the statements given in court, peoples' memories and the fictional fabulation that embellished it. The objective is to build a theatrical show that accentuates, ponders upon, and gives visibility to one of the most stimulating and mysterious happenings that took place in the city of Viseu and its surroundings.
