WORKSHOP
What if we brought together on the studio, artists and politics, to essay the present? Isn't the studio a place of experiment, of searching, of investigation, of risk?A place where knowledge is perfected and acquires distanced criticism? That's the way it is for the artist but also for all those who, as him, dare to think their art, their job, to think life.
In a more or less conscious way, more intuitive or rational, the decision is a constant practice of the artist, of the politic, of the responsible citizen and even of the one that doesn't want to know what is happening. There are those who reflect about the relevance of the artistic creation in society, those who are interested in thinking about possible world, those who want to report unbearable situations, and there is even those who, in doubt, express the courage to think in group because reality is more than a show and the plots that make it are many and contradictory.
In this workshop, Alexandre Dal Farra, Mickaël de Oliveira, Leonor Barata and Patricia Portela will be available to build with the participants that place of freedom in which we all need to think outsider the box, reach further in the imagination of possible solutions about diverse themes, share their ways of gaining perspective for the decisions they make and that follow in their artistic routine. A stimulating route thanks to the complicity of people who decide to work together, in studio. Dois Poderes: Arte e Política aims to be the first of many workshops.
