Is it possible to explain the refugee crisis to children? Do the real stories of nowadays overflow the limits of rawness of the traditional imaginary? Of the World, what do we choose to tell?
Do Bosque para o Mundo tells the story of Farid. Farid in an Afghan boy, of 12 years old, with a story that could be the same of so many other boys, wasn't the fact the he was sent by his mother to Europe, to a safe place. Farid is a refugee.
This play confronts us with hardiness and courage. It confronts us with the story of a boy, between life and death, and makes us look to our own story.
Do Bosque Para o Mundo was the opening show of the 72nd edition of the Festival d'Avignon.
