Music
Dino D'Santiago brings us a concert that blends the sounds of Cape Verde, like batuque and funaná, with influences from electronic music and a compelling voice type more readily associated with R&B. On the forefront of present-day portuguese music, this is a unique musical style that seamlessly combines tradition and contemporaneity.
Our stage is set for him to present his latest album, Sotavento, released in October 2019. It's a name that evokes the region of Algarve, where he grew up, but also the Cape Verde archipelago, which includes the island of Santiago. The concert will be a journey through his latest tracks but also a revisiting of his other record, Mundu Nôbu.
