In a close dialogue with Álvaro Laborinho Lúcio, a wise citizen of the Republic, "Diário de uma República" is a project of Theatre and Photography as spectators of daily life across the span of an entire decade. An artistic reflection about what will be the people and the landscapes of Portugal between 2020 and 2030. What kind of Theatre will result from the act of truly seeing (ourselves)? Seeing for wanting to. Going out to see. The streets, the people, the houses, the objects. Photographing to extend the gaze.
The focus of the 1st edition of "Diário de uma República" will be Justice, understood in its broadest sense: the justice of laws, of relationships, of buildings, of nature, the justice in our own gaze.
