Inclusion remains one of the principal challenges of modern society. Despite legal and pedagogic advances, some barriers persist – physical, social, cultural – that impede a full and equitable participation by people with disabilities in society.
Born from a desire to build more accessible, fair and diverse contexts, this seminar aims to open avenues for a full exercise of one’s citizenship, self-representation and inclusivity as collaborative and interdisciplinary practices. It is predicated on a hybrid model, combining accredited training with a few moments open to audiences.
The training portion includes workshops specialized in different artistic idioms – dance, plastic arts, visual poetry and community theatre – guided by professionals with experience working with both physically and intellectually disabled people.
