There's always someone that dies to save the world. The Old Testament tells us about Abraham sacrificing Isaac, the firstborn later substituted by a lamb after the intervening angel of God stopped the knife raised by the child's own father. In Greek mythology, ritual sacrifice exists to save the collective. In times of war, plague and other crisis, the act of sacrifice allows the community to safeguard its survival and free cities from impending calamity.
This show tries to ascertain what is (still) the meaning of sacrifice in the world today.
