Concerto Final do 18.º Workshop de Jazz de Viseu

After three days of intense work, under the guidance of musicians Rita Maria and Nuno Costa, participants of the 18th Workshop de Jazz de Viseu — students from the Music Conservatories of Coimbra, Oporto, Santa Comba Dão and Seia, among others — exchange ideas, inspiration and try to find difficult answers to the long, but gratifying, learning process of jazz and improvised music.

During these last days, the young music students will take to the stage at Teatro Viriato to present the developed work, anchored on their performance as a group, on the construction of arrangements and improvisation.

This concert happens thanks to the partnership between Teatro Viriato and Que Jazz é Este? – Festival de Jazz de Viseu, organised by Gira Sol Azul that aims to promote jazz and improvised music in the region.
