The Concert "Do Princípio do Mundo" mixes experimental musical instruments created from trees, rocks, and other natural materials, with a set of techniques researched and developed during the residencies of this project. The goal is to generate sound and music through the manipulation of water, earth, wind and several other elements from nature.© There is a decidedly growing spiritual and ritualistic aspect to the works of Fernando Mota, that uses the instruments and other sound producing implements he builds to create spaces of evocation and transcendence.
