CINDERELA

THEATER

A man and a woman enter the stage and approach each other carefully and technically positioning themselves in a romantic pose that is maintained throughout the show.
Aiming to create a metaphor surrounding the fairy tales that live in our imaginations, Lígia Soares presents Cinderela. A play that assumes itself as a dialogue about romantic love that, resisting the change of position, reveals an analogy to social immobility. The actors Cristina Alfaiate and Cláudio da Silva represent on stage a Cinderela and a prince from the contemporary times, a couple striked by a smouldering conflict, that occurs due to the assimetries of their social echelons.
