Play False and Teatro Viriato have launched a programme of Choreographic Labs, featuring internationally renowned choreographers known for their approach, methodology and creativity. The programme takes place in an atmosphere of experimentation and sharing through movement.
Edouard Hue, founder of Beaver Dam Company, is this first session's guest. The workshop is aimed at dance students and professionals who enjoy movement, intensity and dance without limits. Throughout the day, the choreographer shares tools developed through his creative process: guided improvisations, attack-and-release games, explosive movement sequences, and repertoire material. The goal is to immerse participants in a free, instinctive, and totally alive choreographic world - not forgetting, of course, to have fun.
The programme is set to continue with a new workshop on 29 November, with the choreographer to be announced soon.
