Dance
Jérôme Bell challenged the interpreter cédric Andrieux to reflect upon the life of a dancer, at backstage, in the indecisions, in the moments of glory or simply in the daily routine. This is the reality that Cédric Andrieux narrates in this autobiographical solo, where he isolates the most important moments of his career resorting to excerpts of ancient plays. The first performance, the years he attended the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance, the lessons learnt as a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company and more recently from the Lyon Ópera Ballet, are some of the places and time spaces revisited by the interpreter.
With this choreographed monologue, applauded by the specialized critic, Cédric Andrieux invites the public to view the details of an interpreter's life. The result is a product of the subjective consciousness, replete with specific knowledge that only an interpreter of Cédric Andrieux's quality can have.
