This family kills fascists. It's a tradition practised for over 70 years that each member has always followed. Today, they meet at a country house in southern Portugal, near the village of Baleizão. Catarina, one of the youngest in the family, is going to kill her very first fascist, purposefully kidnapped for that very reason. It's a day of celebration, beauty and death. However, Catarina is incapable of taking a life, or refuses to do it. Family conflict breaks out, punctuated by several very poignant questions.
What is a fascist? Is there any legitimacy in using violence to fight for a better world? Can we break the laws of democracy to better defend it?
