Created by Plano Nacional das Artes (PNA), “Caderno Criar Coragem” is a resource that allows youths to implement creative, artistic or “artivist” projects in their own communities. Organized in three parts, this notebook stimulates participation and creation while approaching current events. It also promotes unlearning and playing as a tool for evolution, incentivizing artistic participation, critique and creation in search of a better democracy.

The authors of this resource, Hugo Cruz (online presence), Ana do Canto and the PNA deputy commissioner, Sara Brighenti, present “Caderno Criar Coragem” in Viseu, directly inviting the younger generation to discuss, to have the courage to take chances and look at the world differently while giving them the tools to make their ideas come true.
