The collective, whose name comes from the Portuguese adage "the best part of the fish is the head", was born with the objective of bringing yet unknown "flavours" of sound to audiences.
Guitarist Bruno Pinto fronts the band and is the one responsible for outlining their songs from a kaleidoscope of musical influences. Rock is the main style of the whole project, but other aesthetics such as jazz, folk and ethnic music also feed the group's creative personality.
Bruno Pinto is accompanied by a collection of experienced and versatile musicians that share his appetite for all things novel.
Note: GiraDiscos is the record publishing arm of Gira Sol Azul through which the association means to divulge and stimulate music creation in the city of Viseu and, also, support independent record publishing.
