Seizing the opportunity presented by the staging of his choreographic piece "Bichos", Rui Lopes Graça brings us a workshop where he will share the ideas and choreographic forms that sustain the show's narrative. Through the choreographic discourse between two of the characters present, participants will be able to visit the fundamental moments that properly contextualize this work.
Rui Lopes Graça is a renowned Portuguese choreographer. He has created choreographies for Companhia Nacional de Bailado, Ballet Gulbenkian, Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo, Ballet du Rhin (France), among other companies. He was responsible for some of the choreographies presented at Expo'98 and Porto 2001 European Capital of Culture. His works have been staged throughout the world: United States, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Norway, Mozambique, Angola, Italy, Mexico and Türkiye. Invited, often times, to lecture at Norway's Stavanger University, he has been, since 2017, the coordinator and programmer of Estúdios Victor Córdon, Plataforma Criativa.
