Circus is synonym to juggling, acrobatics, trapeze, and so on and so forth, but first and foremost circus is knowing your own body, having the ability to trust in others and to challenge gravity itself. Seizing the opportunity granted by the staging of Pas Perdus, Benji Bernard and Etienne Borel, from Les Argonautes, propose the exploration of these very same elements, integral parts of the aforementioned artistic disciplines.
Les Argonautes were formed in Brussels, in 1993. Since then, they have been using their technical skills in the art of circus to try and let emotions speak through movement. In shows where laughter and fun rub elbows with the poetic, the pathetic and the absurd, they move and are themselves moved.
