Several renowned artist performed songs written by him: Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Lenine, Rita Lee, Paulinho da Viola, Ney Matogrosso, Cazuza, Adriana Calcanhotto, the portuguese band Clã, among many others.
