Far away from here, on the other side of the ocean, there is a country called Mexico. Me-xi-co. In this place, a long, long time ago, lived a little girl called Frida. Frida. You can't say it? It's easy. She's Frrrrrida. Frida Kahlo, the greatest painter in the whole world.
Antiprincesas (lit: anti-princesses) is a cycle of shows about women that left a mark in history; real life heroines that defied the status quo and revolutionized the world through art, literature or politics. These were fighting women, independent and passionate. Evoking these true heroines underlines the truth that life is not a «fairy tale», and that it is worth it to face hardship and fight for what we believe in.
