In this show, part of the "Antiprincesas" series, we travel back to the 16th century, a time of mermaids and sea monsters, of armours and sharp swords, of castles with high towers where pricesses dwell forlorn. And it is also the century of young Antónia Rodrigues, who left her small town near the Vouga river in search of a life filled with adventure. Antónia. António. Antónia? António? António, who faced storms in a caravel, visited distant lands, fought in fierce battles, receiving decorations and passionate glances for "his" acts of bravery. This is the extraordinary story of Antónia Rodrigues, a girl ahead of her time: sailor, war heroine and, without a doubt, a Portuguese Knight.
