After listening to Le Carnaval des Animaux, by Camille Saint-Saëns, choreographer and performer Romulus Neagu decided to reinterpret the score sheet from an innovative point of view, based on a group of performing art universes.
Musician/composer Luís Madeira and performer Patrick Murys took part in this creation process of sensory vignettes, where the choreographer tried to find a different narrative.
Project Alibantes is first and foremost a choreographic research and creation project, that proposes to analyse the ephemeral of personal memories, fragmented and scattered in collective memory.
