The long absence of Agamemnon, king of Argos, lasted ten years at the Trojan War. In this period, Clytemnestra commanded the destiny of the city near Aegisthus, her lover and old Agamemnon rival. Only the return of the old king promised to clean the thick fog that was downing on Argos citizens. However Clytemnestra didn't forget the sacrifice of her daughter Iphigenia. In those ten years,she was feeding her anger against Agamemnon who finally returns. This is the story of his wretched welcome party.
