How does one organize a revolution? What is a protest song? How can we act and protect freedom? In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to become little revolutionaries.
With the help of Gimba they will work on their protest writing, compose choruses, choose slogans, create their party and defend liberty. With Beatriz Rodrigues, participants will become familiar with the images that represent the revolution, they'll endeavour to understand the impact of shapes, colours and the themes used to build the imagery and visual communication within the context of revolution. They will also get to know some Portuguese artist linked to the April Revolution.
Afterwards, participants will be invited to take part in the performance "Marcha 25 de Abril".
