A TÉCNICA CIRCENSE COMO DISCURSO

WORKSHOP

It is understandable that circus training can help to enhance coordination, power of focus and balance, but it can also stimulate a sense of leadership, self-confidence and team-work.
In this workshop, participants will learn the basic juggling, acrobatic, and balancing techniques of professional circus performers. Techniques and skills that teachers, sociocultural entertainers and other professionals can insert into their teaching methods in order to better captivate and enthuse students or use in projects with the community to help instil feelings of well-being and confidence.
Cirkus Xanti is a Norwegian culture association that fights for the acknowledgement of New Circus as a contemporary art that can encompass all diversity of circus performances developed by trained artists. Since 2009, Cirkus Xanti has promoted The Circus Village project, a self-explanatory endeavour that travels around Norway taking part in art festivals all over the country.
