WORKSHOP
Hugo Oliveira and Sage Cushman return to Teatro Viriato to head a workshop on the exploration of circus techniques.
The artists will allow participants to build a choreographic exercise, making use of juggling, suspension and object manipulation in order for them to create an individual and a collective idiom. Through the exploration of artistic domains such as Physical Theatre, Theatre of Objects, Movement and Circus Techniques the attendants are invited to discover the communication tools that may be potentiated by their bodies.
The statement "I think the world from my place in it, and try to express this through body language" sums up the goal of this workshop quite well. A minha voz não é circular ends with a public presentation.
