Three historical moments in Portugal, some experiences of different generations and a unique but distinct name. These are the essential components of 1974, the new play from Teatro Meridional that aims the historical Portuguese identity of the XX century.
But how do we reach this final product? Which way do we have to choose in terms of historical investigation? Could History integrate the stage arts? Which relation should be established between education and Theatre? To answer these questions the Teatro Meridional suggests a meeting with the director Miguel Seabra who will lead the participants in a roam through the places and characters, through the words, through the documents and through the multiple specificities that make up the 1974 creative process, specifically, and about the making of a Theatre play in general.
