Within the celebration program of the 500 years old of Misericórdia de Viseu, the Orquestra Gulbenkian returns to Viseu with a concert located in Sé de Viseu.
An opportunity to get to know the prestigious work of this collective that emerged in 1962, initially established by 12 musicians and that today has 66 instrumentalists.
The Orquestra Gulbenkian interprets a vast repertoire, from classical to contemporary music.
Being a musical reference in Portugal, this orchestra has also distinguished itself in many of the main concert rooms in the world. They've also performed in many different locations of the country, and by this way contributed to the decentralization of the music access.
